PARK FARM FESTIVE ROUNDUP>>>
Several reports of minimoto motorbikes going up and down the Green Wheel pathway alongside Park Farm this week. They seem to join the riverside pathway from Aydon Road then turn left towards Peterborough.
We need some pictures, usual drill, carefully note time and place, and a description of the drivers (and passengers). Residents have had some 40 of these bikes, taken out of circulation and drivers issued (by police) with section notices.
These people are dangerous as they are uninsured, could cause an accident or crash into dog walkers, cyclists and children. The one persistent rider wears a hood pulled fully up, but one of our intrepid photographers snapped him when he started walking alongside, pushing his minimoto as the petrol had run out and thoughtfully for our camera took his hoodie off! (You really cannot make this up!)
BRICKWORKS BURNING OFF RUBBISH
Being the end of the month, start of a new month and it a Saturday, the brickworks is burning off rubbish again, seems to happen every month at the weekend thinking no one will complain! The stench is currently wafting over Park Farm.
If its affecting you, put in a report or contact your local councillor, unfortunately around here, not much is likely to be done! Hopefully they will prove me wrong.
HARRY BIN LINERS ARE BACK AFTER THREE MONTHS FAMINE
Food recycle bins, bang on December 1st, a replacement roll of bin liners has finally been left by Amey, its only been three months, someone at the council messed up the re-ordering and there has been a city wide bin liner famine.
FLETTON QUAYS SHAMBLES
Fletton Quays: It used to be a tradition on all up market construction sites, that at Christmas time, an illuminated Christmas Tree would be put up at the highest point of construction. Apart from the plastic pyramid monstrosity in the centre of town, no other trees in view....
CATS THROWN OUT AT NIGHT?
A number of neighbourhood cats are being shut out at night during the coldest nights of the year. Cat Rescue teams are set to round them up as strays, as they are being reported. Again pictures, times and dates of incidents are being collated. Please consider your own cats welfare, they simply cannot cope in harsh winter conditions and targets for local foxes ....
